Dermal Fillers – most effective way to nourish your skin
Now, high-grade cosmeceuticals are definitely a great option for maintenance, however, many of these will not penetrate into the dermis to truly nourish your skin. Most of the time the molecules within these creams are too large to penetrate past the epidermis and make their way down to where it’s actually needed the dermis. Modern cosmetic medicine has found the answer is using dermal fillers, which are predominantly made up of naturally forming sugar proteins called Hyaluronic acid, or HA’s. Chances of that rubber band drying out and breaking are minimal. Consider the Hyaluronic Acid as the water that keeps the collagen moist and elastic. Collagen is continuously surrounded and nourished by the gelatinous HA substance.

Young skin is smooth and highly elastic because it contains high concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid, which helps skin to stay healthy. As we grow older, the body loses its ability to maintain this same concentration in the skin, as a result, the skin becomes drier. Hyaluronic acid acts as a space filler by binding to water and thus keeping the skin wrinkle-free.
Recommendations for your skin maintenance
The overall health of our largest organ is suffering, while we spend time and money on more superficial aspects of our appearance and health. It’s not to say stop doing the other things, just look at our priorities and budget and factor HA’s into our future treatment plans for our most valuable and precious asset, our skin!
We recommend, the minimum for HA replacement would be 4 to 8 ml of a skin boosting product such as vital, annually. Quarterly, skin resurfacing and controlled trauma activity such as microdermabrasion, skin needling, laser, metabolic peels, and skin tightening for continual cell regeneration, collagen growth and clarity.
