Say goodbye to wrinkles with Anti-wrinkle injections that are designed to soften lines and wrinkles on your face and neck. By injecting a prescription medicine into the muscles, it blocks nerve pulses to reduce muscle activity. A reduction in muscle activity reduces the formation of severe lines in the skin. This treatment is perfect for contouring, hyperhidrosis, masseters and those with dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles accentuated through movement) such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. In addition, Anti-Wrinkle Injections can be used for contouring and sculpting the face and body muscles, eyebrow lifting and calf shaping.

FAQs

The results of each treatment can vary from patient to patient, but visible results have been shown to last up to four months. We will send a reminder text at 10-12 weeks to remind you of your next treatment.

Discomfort is normally very minimal as we use tiny insulin needles for the treatments. Each procedure takes approximately 10 minutes and most patients are in and out without a worry. If the pain is a concern, It is possible to use numbing gel or ice prior to the injections.

Although side effects associated with the injection are rare, they may include localised pain, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, infection and/or bleeding/bruising.

The cost of your treatment depends on the amount of medication administered. The prescription medication used in the treatments is measured in units and will vary according to gender, strength of facial muscles, the degree of wrinkling and the results of past treatments.

Our medical team will be able to advise the exact cost of your treatment at the time of your consultation as they will be able to assess your individual needs. Due to TGA Regulations, we are unable to display pricing. Please contact us on 1300 126 869 or via email for further information.

Yes. There is still some confusion about the amount of units used by different anti-wrinkle suppliers. This is because Allergan products initially had a larger presence in Australia than other anti-wrinkle companies such as Ipsen and the unit amounts have always been compared back to Allergan products which can be confusing.

These days there are a wide variety of anti-wrinkle products available and we think it’s best to treat each product and its dosage of its own accord, rather than comparing the different products against one another.

Generally speaking, most clinics would use 2.5 times the amount of Ipsen product as they would Allergan product. For example, if you have previously been treated with an Allergan product and received 20 units, the same treatment using an Ipsen product would be 50 units.
We will continue to provide information as different products are approved but the most important thing is that you make an informed choice about which product will you the best results.

Many people use Anti-Wrinkle Injections because it is fast, long lasting, cost effective and an incredibly safe way to treat both lines and wrinkles. We recommend the treatment to all male and females who are looking for a more youthful appearance.
