Expect swelling and the chance of some bruising after treatment which may last up to one week.

As there is with any medical procedure, temple filler comes with some potential risks and side effects clients should consider before undergoing treatment.

- Asymmetry
- Textural irregularities
These risks are extremely rare but worth noting:
- Allergic reaction
- Necrosis
- Infection
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or physical pressure on the affected area
- Avoid high temperatures like steam rooms, saunas, or heated exercise classes for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid makeup on the area for up to 24 hours after.
- Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen and fish oil tablets.
To assist with bruising, Arnica tablets may be recommended.
The pain associated with temple filler is mild.
