It happens to both men and women, as we age we are exposed to environmental conditions that affect our skin. So if you’re looking for a treatment for those fine lines and wrinkles, especially in the areas where treatment is limited like your neck and chest, then the liquid gold treatment might be the way to go.
This treatment starts with our experienced and well-trained professionals withdrawing a sample of the client’s blood. The My Botique medical professional then takes that vial and places it in a centrifuge so that the liquid gold will be separated from the blood.
When this process is done, the only thing remaining is liquid gold when used in skincare treatment. The Liquid Gold is taken and injected into the areas the client has marked as areas of concern. The injection of this liquid gold then creates a smoother, more youthful appearance. It also stimulates the clients’ own natural healing properties, which will, in turn, help with skin regeneration.
When you build your personal plan, you can also couple this treatment with skin needling. This is a collagen and elastin stimulating treatment that is sometimes known as a vampire facial. Another benefit you may see from Liquid Gold treatment is the stimulation of hair growth for a fuller and lusher look.
As we age, we start to lose collagen and elastin. The loss of collagen and elastin results in fine lines, premature wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Liquid Gold is an extremely effective and natural way to restore the skin.
Liquid Gold is a natural and effective way to rejuvenate your skin. It is brightening and tightening. After having a Liquid Gold treatment the growth factors and regenerative molecules are released into the skin resulting in new collagen and elastin as well as cellular growth and skin remodelling.
The great thing about Liquid Gold is it is autologous, it can be used anywhere on the body. So, not only for your face, for example neck, hands, decolletage and stretch marks. Liquid Gold does not act like a dermal filler and although it is injected into your skin it will not restore volume loss. However, this treatment can be used in combination with any of our other treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals.
Liquid Gold can be used for much more than fine lines and wrinkles. Liquid Gold is good for sun damaged skin, acne scars, dark circles, stretch marks, hair loss and rejuvenation of skin tone and texture.
A small sample of your blood is required which is just like a routine blood test. After the blood sample is collected it will be put into a centrifuge to spin for 10 minutes. This is where the magic happens. The technology works by separating the blood leaving only the regenerative molecules and growth factors known as Liquid Gold.
This treatment is required to be done in clinic and will be performed by one of our experienced medical team.
This treatment can cause redness, swelling and bruising. Bruising can last for over a week, using arnica cream can help to speed this up. You will need to avoid alcohol and caffeine for the next 24hrs. Please DO NOT take any Aspirin, Nurofen, fish oils, glucosamine, Vitamin B or E as these are blood thinning agents and can exacerbate bruising. Downtime for liquid gold treatment varies depending on the area of treatment.
For areas such as the neck, under-eyes and chest, the skin may appear slightly red and blotchy for up to half-an-hour after injections with bruising being common.
Vampire facials can expect a 3 – 5 day period for downtime. Expect the face to be red and swollen for 24hours followed by a light shedding of the skin over the following days.
There is no downtime for hair rejuvenation.

As there is with any medical procedure, Liquid Gold treatment comes with some potential risks and side effects clients should consider before undergoing treatment.
These risks are extremely rare but worth noting:
To assist with bruising, Arnica tablets may be recommended.
Liquid Gold injections are superficial and have been similarly compared to mosquito bites.
Vampire facials: My Botique medical professionals apply a numbing cream to the face for 20 minutes before treatment, to alleviate discomfort.
Hair rejuvenation: The scalp can be a sensitive area to inject, so a moderate stinging pain sensation should be expected.
